Welcome to the 2025-2026 Upward Sports Basketball and Cheerleading program for Kindergarten through 8th Grade boys and girls at Redland Baptist Church in Derwood, Maryland.

This Christian sports league helps kids discover and build athletic skills, values, self-confidence and a life-long love of the game. Upward provides a great experience for players and spectators: All participants are evaluated and spread out evenly across teams, providing well-matched game to play and watch. 

Practices are held Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings with games on Friday nights or Saturdays.

Registration is required.
Registration Note:  If you do not see your child listed in your household for registration, please contact us immediately so we may add the child -- DO NOT register yourself instead of your child.

Credit Card Payment due upon registration:
Please note, we are unable to refund fees and registration costs, as they are already committed to the purchase of equipment and programs costs.
